Have you tried a bit of everything, but those aches and pains still creep back in faster than you would like?
When you leave a treatment do you feel good temporarily but those same stubborn spots keep coming back? (or maybe they haven’t totally left)
Whether it is scar tissue built up, repetitive strain from work or play, or you just want to step up your treatment game, lessoning the time spent in session and maximizing the benefits…..
Adding cupping to your massage might just be for you!
What is cupping?
Cupping is an ancient technique. When cups are placed on the skin through a means of suction drawing the underlying tissues towards the surface. The action, unlike massage which uses compression, separates the highly dynamic and convoluted layers within the tissues of the body.
It’s a great form of Myofascial Release which lifts and loosens adhesions while assisting in the restructuring of underlying myofascial bands.
The result – improved blood flow to encourage healing.
(Fascia is a web like form of connective tissue that helps hold everything together in the body from organs, blood vessels, nerve fiber, bone and
muscle).
The negative pressure of the cups also plays a big part in activating the parasympathetic nervous system allowing an added component of relaxation to occur helping to bring one’s body back into homeostasis.
So, what can I expect in “My Own” treatment you might ask? …
I have taken several cupping courses over the years and with the experience I have gains through incorporating cupping into practice, I have fine tuned the art of targeting and achieving the goals of my clients.
Depending on our collaborative discussion of your concerns and goals, I am able to tailor your session placing the cups accordingly to meet your needs.
While the cups are “parked” working their magic, I can focus on other parts of the body at the same time, thereby maximizing the benefits of your time. In essense you get two treatments in one!
But aside from being “parked” I am able to dynamically work with the cups creating massage through the cups. With the combination of the three your body will surrender itself to relaxation in no time.
Side benefits as per my clients: the ability to make your benefits last longer by increasing space between sessions as effects are longer lasting.
How fantastic is that!?
Drastically improving time spent in session…
Two treatments in one…
Longer lasting results to boot.
Win, Win…. WIN!
